The brunch spots that survive both audiences are the ones built around quality. There's no Tulum-style wellness-brunch scene here — Cozumel keeps it simpler.
**Laptop / café-brunch:**
- **The Coffee Cozumel** — Cozumel's specialty coffee anchor. Real espresso, laptop-friendly seating, solid breakfast plates. The morning default for divers + remote workers.
- **Diamond Bakery** — grab-and-go pastry counter with real espresso. Croissants, conchas, breakfast pastries.
**Sit-down brunch:**
- **Casa Mission** — hacienda-style courtyard with elevated breakfast plates. Mexican-leaning, polished. Great for slow Sundays.
- **La Cocay** — typically dinner-focused but their brunch (when offered) is excellent. Check current hours.
- **Mañana Restaurant** — locals' Mexican-breakfast institution. Chilaquiles, huevos motuleños, real coffee. No frills, very good.
**Beach / view brunch:**
- **Money Bar** — beachfront brunch on the west side. Mediocre food but the view + the snorkel-and-eat combo works.
- **El Pirata Beach Club** (east side) — beachfront with breakfast option. Quieter than west-side spots.
**Bakeries / pastry-driven:**

**Skip:**
- Anything labeled "American breakfast" on the cruise-pier boardwalk. Tourist menus, sketchy execution.
